IT/Digital Project Manager

Job Description:

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex system implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to build strong relationships and ensure project success.
  • Scope & Requirements: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans and ensure proactive communication of potential issues to stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and motivation. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects adhere to high standards of quality, including thorough testing and validation of system implementations.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Presentations & Slide Decks: Create compelling presentations and slide decks to effectively communicate project progress, outcomes, and recommendations to the end client.

Requirements:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Proven experience in the consulting industry, with a strong understanding of the dynamics and challenges of client-facing projects.
  • Extensive experience managing complex system implementation projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior-level executives and technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the ability to apply them effectively in different project contexts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical environments.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on achieving long-term business goals through successful project execution.
